ROOL and ROL

Some time ago, there was an announcement stating that ROOL and ROL were going to look into ways of cooperating more closely. This is, of course, very welcome. Have there been any decisions made on practical measures in this direction yet?

One obvious step would be to unify the Toolbox and CLib modules. Both are used by lots of applications, and a single version number to check for would really help developers out. As the toolbox is freely distributed, and CLib is comparable in features on both platforms, what are the obstacles in getting a unified distribution with a single version control, downloadable from both the ROL and ROOL sites?

IMO, such a move would really contribute to goodwill and encourage faith in both OS development streams.
