Does that mean that HForm’s LFAU and the one reported by the script are entirely consistent with one another? Do they need to be consistent? I’ve got no idea how this works! |

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.” :) I should probably fix the script to report both.. I’d half forgotten about them – I know I did a bit of tweaking a while ago so I should probably check what I have on my computer is pushed to git too. |

Just tried the older set of scripts in Matthew Harris’s fork on Github and they work a treat! There’s obviously something in the scripts that were uploaded 2 months ago that’s stopping them from working on my machine. Chris – thanks very much for writing these in the first place. Also, thanks to everyone else who tried to steer me in the right direction. I’m going to see if I can get Baldur’s Gate running now. |

I’ve just pushed an update to these. When I chaged them to take the device name on the command line, I (stupidly) used that for the loader file so instead of putting the loader back onto the disc it put the disc itself back where the loader should go … d’oh. I’ve just done a quick test and it seems to be okay now. I’ve updated get_loader and put_loader to also take the filename for the “Loader” file. |

It’s been a bit of a while coming, but I’ve just today posted a video on the YouTube RISC OS Community channel that demonstrates using these scripts. The video itself is around 18 minutes long but covers the entire process including backing up the data already on the RISC OS Pi SD card as well as using Oracle Virtual Box along with the Slax live Linux environment to perform the resize work. I hope that this is useful. |
