Saving Desktop Config

I may have missed some history, discussion or something, but having been used to setting up my RISC PC desktops up how I wish them to appear on startup, I had the option of saving this from Taskmanager. Is this still possible with the RPi Distro, or do I have to edit !Boot.Choices.Boot.Desktop by hand? |

If you open the task manager’s main window and open the menu from in there you’ll find that all the old options are still available. They were just removed from the icon bar menu to help keep things simple for all the new users the Pi distro is hoping to reach. |

Thanks Jeffrey. I should have looked a little harder! |

This is an awful way to get your desktop set up though. Saving that Desktop file is a recipe for disaster. What you should be doing is loading Configure (double-click !Boot) and going to the Boot configuration plug-in then setting up the things you want RISC OS to “look at” (filer boot) and “run” during the boot sequence. |
