Can you use a USB floppy drive with RISC OS on a Pi?

This seems to crash the USB stack as I lost keyboard and mouse

USBFloppy and BR/DVD/CD ROM and Writer are working fine on my Pi400 and all the other RISC OS 5 devices.
For the Pi400 … it needs an activ USBHub. The original powersupply often has not enough power.
USBFloppys can not read FileCore Floppydiscs. Is an hardware Problem. I have an old Desktop PC with Floppy. ArcImg is working with it, with the USBFloppy not.

Ever tried using RISC OS with only a touchscreen?

I have with my PiTab and Thomas driver. Is working well ;-)

I see. When you tap it pops up a dialogue asking what mouse button you wanted.
Well, it’s a solution… ;)

Is a rotated mouse funktion. Different settings possible also the time. I use it without displaying the mouse funktion. With a little practice this works well for me but is not comparable with a “touch OS”.

For information, one of the goal of my 2 port ram card link between a RPI and a standard ARC or RISPC will be to provide the control of ‘legacy’ acorn ARM computer devices (floppies/hdd/econet) by the Raspberry Pi… Card is there, software still to develop ;-)
