Export individual windows via VNC

You could still export individual windows via VNC, couldn’t you?

Is this actually the case? Can I do that now? (I can’t find any further reference to it)

That was just a solution David was proposing – I don’t think anyone’s implemented it (I know I haven’t). However there have been several significant performance improvements made to the VNC server since 2016, including adding an option to use the filter manager to be notified of redraw events.
