Serial commands from Basic

Hi,

Just got my Pi loaded with the RISC OS and started Basic.

I’d like to use the serial port but *FX2,2 and *FX3,7 don’t seem to work like they did in the old days.
Can someone please give me an idea what basic commands I need to use to get data in and out of the serial port ?
