MPlayer with DVD navigation

The latest version of MPlayer is available from here.
This version is built with latest available source and also includes DVD navigation support.
There’s an example obey file in the !MPlayer folder (dvdplay) to show how to play a DVD folder.
When playing a DVD folder there seems to be a lot more I/O taking place which may cause
the sound to get out of sync.

Have try…
mplayer -nocache -framedrop dvdnav:// -noconsolecontrols -mouse-movements -dvd-device CDFS::0.$ >null: 2>&1
… to use a real DVD Device. Is a bit slow. Not sure why. Is a SATA DVD (Titanium)

Before I *set DVD$DIR to my HD folder. “Direct path” in the mplayer line was not working.
Works with enough speed but drag the VIDEO_TS folder to KinoAmp0.51 is faster with both settings …

Raik, thanks for the tip of using DVD$DIR as all my attempts to open a DVD folder failed.

I played a little bit with a few DVDs and found the DVD menu handling very unstable, play a little bit with the menus hand the application suddenly vanishes.

Highlighting seems also incorrectly displayed on screen. On the “Akira” DVD were in grey instead of intended colors and in the wrong position as if they were not using the same aspect ratio as the image, it also started in the chapter list menu for some reason. On another DVD they just seemed absent.
