Retro games on the Pi?

Now I’m happy to own a RISC OS device again, I’d love to get some of my old games from the A3000 era up and running again. I’m mainly thinking of things like Chocks Away and Cataclysm. I tried copying across Lemmings and just got a load of exception errors. Before I tried, I expected that the hardware and OS had moved on too much from the good old days. Is there any way I can get old software working, such as an ARM2 compatability mode or anything? |

Jon Abbot is working on exactly this, see this thread on Iconbar: |

That’s for running games natively on the Raspberry Pi. You can also use ArcEm to run games under emulation. The Archimedes Software Preservation Project may be of interest. Also, see the current status of the preservation effort. |

Excellent, thanks for that link. I’ll get that bookmarked and keep an eye on developments. |
