LanManFS

Would anyone like to try LanManFSDel_01/zip. I’ve rewritten the directory enumeration and it should now delete directory trees completely. The existing version leaves files when recursing back through the directory tree so you have to delete multiple times to completely remove a directory. I’ve included a program that creates a directory tree on the ram disc that you can copy to the share and delete/count – if you want to use it. While I don’t envisage any problems – I don’t have any – but I’d play it safe and try out counting and copying from the share first just to check that a directory that you have copied from the share has the same file count as the version on the share. This should confirm that the server is working as expected then you can try deleting a folder. The folder created by ‘MakeRamFolder’ fails to delete on the first attempt, for me, with the existing LanmanFS. It should work with command line commands (wipe, count) as well as FilerAction (Desktop filer). |

Looks good to me, I tried to break it with a few simultaneous copies and deletes in different folders on my NAS. Couldn’t fault it. ( I confirmed the failure to delete all with the default lanmanfs first). |
