Could UnSqueeze be exposed via SWI?

Could the UnSqueeze Module code be exposed as an SWI? I was going to copy the code, but that’s not particularly forward thinking as it might change or be extended. |

It could be, but if you want to unsqueeze yourself, there is the unmodsqz tool in DDE. |

Unmodsqz is no use as I’m doing it on the fly as the Module is loading. |

If you specifically need to be compatible with UnSqueeze, no; but if all you want is compression and decompression available as a module, use the zlib module, which is part of recent-ish HardDisc4 distributions. I use it in my DBack and DRest apps. |

Given Dave’s confirmation that UnSqueeze can’t be exposed, I’ll revert to my original plan of copying the code. |

There’s no reason why it can’t be exposed, it just currently isn’t. There’s nothing stopping you from doing it, as to be able to copy the code you’ll find the part which could be worked into a SWI. |
