Filer - code query.

Poking around in Filer, again, after a long hiatus and I have a question.
(combination of busy, no inclination, and blind kept me out of it. Not all simultaneously)

In the source file sources.desktop.filer.s.clicks, why do lines 118 and 119 duplicate lines 116 and 117?

Just a bit of redundant code echo?

Digging in the source history¹ this seems to date all the way back to the Ursula code merge 1997
That seems to be a point where an alteration was made so that this code was no longer used:

DecodeMenu_NewDir ROUT ; NOENTRY

         LDR    r1, newdirbox_text
         ADR    r2, cdir_click_name
         BL     strcpy
         BL     click_newdir_click

         EXIT

cdir_click_name DCB "Directory",0 

thus forcing the user to use the “New Directory” sub-menu and supply a specific directory name.

The code above (cleaned from the source by Sprow a little while back since the build didn’t use it) does present a simplistic solution for a “create new directory” key shortcut though (always called “Directory” of course).
Working on the premise of re-using what you find rather than re-inventing is fine – until someone cleans up the “unused” bit you were (ab)using…
