SchemEd behaviour

CloseUp is set to run at 1cs.

On the RPi this goes fine, and shows as 0% on Usage

…but it makes RPCEmu go at 30 – 40 Mips.

Going back to my original post, I can now exonerate SchemEd from causing (or helping to cause) the extreme slowdown.

I’ve now seen the same thing wheh the only apps running are Messenger Pro and Netfetch (which in turn runs Hermes and Newshound).

The symptoms: control-break, alt-break, control-shift-F12 are ignored.
The mouse does move the pointer
clicking on a window’s close button does nothing now, but does get actioned later.
This “stall” can last up to a couple of minutes.

It’s interesting that a window click is stored for future use, but control-break etc are not.

The machine is an Armx6 running RO5.27. Messenger Pro and Netfetch are the latest versions.

I will also mention that I have noticed that when Hermes is doing it’s stuff, keyboard characters get lost – if I’m typing something at the time, there will be groups of 2-3 letters missing. This makes me wonder whether it’s Hermes that’s getting stalled at that critical point.

Ive tried connecting with Avalanche while it’s stalled – the window opens, black, without asking for the password. It does nothing thereafter.

One thing I haven’t tried, and will do now, is to restart the router.
