Upgrading rPi to 5.28

Hi I’ve just successfully upgraded a pi from 5.24 to 5.28 using the instructions Risc OS Upgrade. Thanks for making this so painless. I have one piece of advice and a question. Advice: If you have !Reporter configured to log during boot, turn this off before running the InSituUpdate. (In reporter, config…, bootlog, untick “Start Reporter at startr of boot sequence” and click Save.) Question: Is there a way to replace the RISCOS.IMG without having to rermove the SD card from the pi? In my case it means stripping down some built-in systems to get to the cards. |

Yes: double-click on !Boot.Loader. |

Thanks. That works. I thought I’d seen it somewhere, but couldn’t find it. |

It’s in all versions. The Loader is an the boot partition cleverly added to the FileCore filing system, so it appears as FAT32 image filing system. Never delete that file, or copy a new one over the top, as it then wont map to the boot partition. |
