Try this http://ci.netsurf-browser.org/builds/riscos/NetSurf-gcc-json-739.zip The later builds are crashing with js on. |

NetSurf is now up to #749 (both json and jsoff). The javascript implementation at the moment is very much a subset of the full language. As such, it is prone to crashing due to not being able to handle many commands. It is useful for experimentation though. There has been discussion over on the netsurf users maillist. |

I know. But the newer builds are chrashing (the download is a little bit smaller). The #739 is the latest that work a little bit with js on. It is little bit early for a “hurray”, I know ;-) |

Can you give some examples of js-websites Netsurf crashes on? |

@Raik: Yes, I am on the Netsurf users and developers maillists, although there isn’t much traffic at the moment. I am using the json versions of Netsurf with js normally enabled. I haven’t had many actual crashes. Some sites do not behave the way they should, but it usually means things are not rendered rather than crashing. I was certainly on a site this morning that was heavy in js. First visit was with js off and rendered page was alomost blank. Revisiting with js on, more was displayed, but still most of the important stuff was absent. I have found with some sites that jsoff works better than json, because the site serves up a non-js page. However as I said I am not getting many crashes. The conrad.de url you gave in your first post seems to work fine here with js on. |

Bit of a mixed blessing really. Just went through all the filling out and ticking boxes, then ended up with being redirected to blank PayPal login, meh. |
