Seeking ABC65 Basic Compiler from DABS

Apologies for not being totally on-topic for RISC OS, but hoping someone will remember… I think the ABC Basic Compiler from DABS is fairly well-known. But there was also a 1989 product announcement, or at least a coming-soon, for ABC65 – similarly a Basic Compiler to run on the Archimedes, but in this case targeting a BBC Micro or Master. Has anyone got any recollections about this, or materials, or pointers for further research? |

From the discussion on StarDot, it sounds like the code never went beyond the developer and has subsequently been lost. |
