Galileo

Hi everyone Hopefully some of the ROOL guys might know the answer to this question. What ever happened to the ill-fated Galileo OS?

As Acorn made a statement to the market I presume it was more than just hot-air. Does code exist for it? Resource, Planning documents etc.

All just out of curiousity really as I’ve never really known much about it, except what I read at the time. I’d love to know the full picture. :)

I’m not sure how much was confidential and besides, I didn’t work on the project. But as far as I can recall – there was code and documentation, but the OS was never finished, didn’t get used in any production projects and I’ve no idea where the source code may be. ROOL certainly doesn’t have any rights to it. Ho hum!
