Hmm, so instead of having nine hundred megabytes free, I’ll have seven thousand nine hundred… :-)
I quite like Birds (which I’m quite aware isn’t technically custard, more a yellow gloop). It goes well with chips. |

I do hope you’re not talking “meal-deal for two down at the local pub” rates of pay. :)
There’s a sign on the wall at work: Gabor put on a fair bit of weight in the 6 months after putting that up. These days the “doughnut fine” applies to any misattributed alleged problem, voluntary payments are made by anyone making a mistake. |

Wait, what? B..b..but it’s always DNS. The Register told me so. |

Damn, looks like I have missed all the fun here :) I’ll just stir the “rage” for tomorrow’s morning lol Custard Doughnuts are the best ever!!!! (and runs away)
Now that’s the way to do it! I need to step up my game too at work :) |

Actually, last week it was DNS (after a fashion) 1 Medical equipment comes from suppliers that are precious about having anti-virus on their (still) Windows 7 based kit. 2 I really don’t know how my mind gets there. I had to argue with the other guys about why I thought it was happening. Suffice to say turning off the feature I was suspecting “fixed” the problem. |

Not if you exceed doughnut limits :( Mind you, for my 60th I went in to work with a good collection of doughnuts and goodies. |

Doughnut limit? What is this heresy?
Here in France it’s expected to take sweets/chocolates to work on your birthday. I think after a decade they’ve finally got the hang of my celebrating six months late. ;-) What is normal for birthdays in Britain? I didn’t really have birthday parties as a child, it was just mom and me doing something special… like surprising me by going to a tea room I liked…. in Cornwall, 250 miles away! |

This is not RISC OS, but is it possible to run Windows 10 on a Pi 4 4GB or Pi4 8GB? |
Geoff (7740) 68 posts |
Andrew R, Still not sure how to make a post with quotes, but will take a look at CJE, and look at your prices and what my options are. At the moment I’m thinking Pi6 4GB or a Pi 400, I would like to see what Pi if any is able to run Windows 10, I have everything else, wireless keyboard and mouse, cable leads etc, but would like to get and once setup, is get RISC OS connected to the internet. But will order today for sure. |

There is a separate forum for testing things like this, but to answer your question, I think you just pressed g instead of q. |

The bg. probably does not help. |

Once I have placed an order for a Pi 4 or Pi 400, what type and what size micro SD card would you recommend to used? |

Andrew, I’m still not sure how to make a post with quotes, do I need to click on a link below near Formatting Help. If so what do I actually need to type. Or do I need to click on a link below near Formatting Help, what I move my mouse in this area below, nothing happens. I’m a macOS user. |

Not q.[space] or bg.[space], but bq.[space]text to quote |

SO, to quote the above I typed in:
The space after the first bq. is very important! The second one is part of the quoted text and only coincidentally seems to be at the start of a line here due to formatting of the text! There are loads of other “tags” you can use, which was what all that “see the links below” was about! Click on the blue “here” after Textile reference under this or any subsequent last posting. |

Where can I find the full list of tags to use. |

John, Looks like I can now quote, what do you need to type to end a quote. Type normal text, then below start another quote. As you can see my post above, not all the text is in quotes, have I made an error here. |

It’s the newline that turns it off. So you can do the bq.[space] again to quote further lines. There is a way to quote paragraphs with line breaks, but get used to this one first! To do the bit in different type I enclosed the text in If you want to practise, you can always use just one posting, deleting the contents for each retry. It’ll annoy the hell out of everyone else, but… I’ve had multiple gos at trying to get this right and failing! |
