Vapourware?

Looking at Drobe for info on David’s movie player, I followed some links and saw an article about CinoDVD and changes (non-blocking, etc) to be made to ADFS in co-operation with Castle.

Just vapourware, or did some of this stuff make it in to RISC OS?

IIRC they concluded in the end that the Iyonix bus bandwidth problem was insurmountable.
With later hardware hopefully that isn’t true. Though with Adrian’s health and his limited time I doubt it is a high priority.
