Rpi400 & !SparkFS - Not enough free memory

Is anybody else having trouble getting !SparkFS 1.46 to run on a Rpi400 in 4G of RAM? It complains there is not enough free memory and then aborts.
!Store is affected since it can’t decompress any any downloads.

I’ve not had any problems running SparkFS 1.46 on a 4GB Pi4B (and it loads and runs on a Pi 400) running RISC OS 5.28.

Are you running RISC OS 5.29? If so, what is the build date? (Task Manager > Info)

One thing to check: Open !SparkFS.Config.Choices and look at the values for “memmax” and “memmin” (at or near line 8 of the file). I have these set to “16777216,27648”. You may have problems if the first number is too small.

If you have RISC OS 5.28 running then check the number of active modules you have
and if it is 147/148 or more then this could be the issue.

Update: Try the latest 5.29 ROM in place of the earlier ROM just to see if it overcomes the issue you are seeing.

Stuart, thank you, you were on the money. I updated the config as you describe and then it would load on 5.28.

5.28 is what you get with the Raspberry pi image app, but I have updated my rom image to 5.29 any way.
