Hello François, use what you want ;-) Your Link is a older Image and it contains only boot.scr, cmos and riscos (08/2011). But with the new firmware works only ROMs after 07/2012. You can use my images. The “Livesystem” is only one 2GB card and it works comparable with the RPi-card. A FAT partiton with the boot-stuff and a ADFS partition with the RISC OS files. Good for the first tests. I prefer two cards. Left FAT (32GB or 64GB I have) with the Linux stuff and the 3 bootfiles and right a adfs card (16GB or 32GB) for RISC OS. |

Sorry, if my english confused you. At first you can use the “Livesystem” for the left slot. It is a 2GB Image. It boot atomatic… RPi like. If you will also use Linux, you need a card for the pnd-files. Then the two card version is better, I mean. You can also build your own System. It is not a problem. Play around and find out what is the better way for you. I have the Linux stuff and the shared files in the left slot together with the RISC OS bootfiles and a modify bootmenu in the nand. In the right slot is a adfs card. So I can use Linux and RISC OS without changing the cards. |

@Erich Right card-image: Maybe this is not the right image or I have not changed the path e.g. in AppDock on the right way. I will check this in the next days. You can also use the “Live-card” in the right slot and copy the bootfiles for the “right card image” to the left card. You can also create your own cmos. Open a task window… *SDFS (or SCSI for USB) Doubleklick !Boot … and safe CMOS. The saved CMOS you find !Boot.Choices. I hope that works. Edit: You can download my Pandora cmos-collection . |

@Erich I’m not at home and I have no Pandora here. But I have use the Pandora SD Installer in Pandoralogo/System ;-). You can create a SD Card to boot Angström from. You became the question how many space from the card you will using and if you need a swap partition. I use a complete 16GB Card for the FS + Swp. Also I habe modify my bootmenu in the nand. So I can boot RISC OS from a ext2 partition. |

I have try. It looks like a bug. You must save your Desktop settings via middle mb on the TaskWindow. It create a !Boot obey for !Boot.Choices.boot.tasks but the parameter in the Set Alarm line are not correct, I mean. I have not the time to search. It is Eastern. Edit: Sorry, I forgot the link 2. Edit: I have play around… It works if you save the CMOS after changing. The saved CMOS you find in !Boot.Choices. Use the new one. |
Erich Kraehenbuehl (1634) 181 posts |
@Raik what is the command to save the cmos on the RISC OS? |
Raik (463) 2061 posts |
@Erich CMOS: Doubleclick to !Boot, menu with middle mb on the configure window and save CMOS. The saved CMOS you find in !Boot.Choices… [Shift]+doubleclick to !Boot. Replace the old on the Boot card. You should use fat32fs to do this. The ROM from today works. |

@Raik This should be fixed in todays ROM. There was a bug that was stopping SDCMOS from working properly. |

There was a bug that was stopping SDCMOS from working properly. Does that bugfix also address the CMOS-related problem described here please? |
