There are several “in progress” projects mentioned in the Roadmap that aren’t part of the Bounty scheme and whose status isn’t obvious: Add support for the Large Physical Address Extension/long descriptor page table format; Improve GraphicsV to support multiple monitors; Improved memory management; OpenGL support. @ROOL. Might it be possible to provide an update on these at the end of tomorrow’s talk? Or maybe add some status info for “in progress” projects to the Roadmap page, as is being done for Bounties under the “Current status” section? |

As we know, bounty A may depend on bounty B, so and so forth. Is it also time to change how the headlines are presented? Someone may want to put some money towards WiFi support, 8 Gb memory support, Desktop zero network configuration, a new debugging tool, and insert Mikko’s list here. Perhaps a list that represents the things people want versus a technical focus. Food for thought?
