Some time ago William was working on Pic board + plus software to drive a RO floppy drive. He pointed to a download Zip – but which is no longer available. Does anyone here remembering downloading the Zip file? Can’t remember whether I did or didn’t download it- or what the file name was :-( Is they anyway of searching/listing Zips by date? Or searching though Zips? Thanks |

Most find-type utilites will descend into zip files and other mountable archives. The DDE !Find certainly does. |

We got DOS format readable via USB floppies years ago, as per the thread you’ve linked too Stuart. I’m not sure if it was merged into the OS source though. I believe Colin is referring to support for native format RO floppies on modern machines, which require a 1772 FDC or emulation of one to read. |
