Maestro lets you change the stero position of staves, so you can manually move all the audio from the Tune to the right or left channel to check that channel is working. |

@Andrew – thanks for reminding me! @All – posting this now on stardot once they activate my account . . . I have more precise test results now: 1. Connecting A310 to AKF11 monitor – right signal only to monitor speaker(s) only. 2. Connecting to TRS (3 pole) headphones – right signal to right headphone speaker only (very faint beep to left headphone speaker on CTRL+G from BASIC). 3. Connecting to TRRS (4 pole) headphones – right signal to right headphone speaker AND internal speaker. The RTC does not keep good time so I have a feeling that the CMOS/RTC chip is faulty (deprived of battery for too long?) which may be contributing to this problem? I am having a similar issue on a newly acquired (MK3 board) RPC which also has a faulty CMOS/RTC chip (does not retain time et cetera) – the sound is VERY quiet on the RPC internal speaker but seems normal (stereo left and right ok) on TRS and TRRS headphones. |
