Your view perhaps, however I was rather grateful that Castle introduced a consistent standard. Editors having a configuration to change to a quirky version will keep some people happy.

“Me too”. Acorn deprecated the “RISC OS Way” back in 1994, and the first thing I have to do on any RISC OS system is configure it so that Delete deletes forwards (as it does on nearly every other computer platform).

Please do not revert this change, as for many of us it would make RISC OS virtually unusable without some kind of hack to reinstate it.

I would love to see a simple configuration that would allow DELETE/BACKSPACE/COPY to be assigned throughout RISC OS to do what the user prefers.
