The Messages Module is missing from pre-built modules page, could it be added?

Because it’s definitely there.

You can’t build a soft-loadable version of Messages, nor would it make any sense to do so. The sole function of Messages is to register the contents of ResourceFS for all the ROM modules; they’re held in this central place so that an optimised tokenisation dictionary can be generated for each ROM build.

Soft-loadable versions of other modules typically install their own support files in ResourceFS, without using tokenisation so that they can be loaded on multiple OS versions. This leaves nothing for a soft-loadable version of Messages to do.

There are no messages in FileSwitch, TerritoryManager, BASIC or BASICTrans as downloaded from pre-built modules page.

I ripped a copy out of the Iyonix ROM image, and after fixing a bug in my ARM emulator, it works well so far.
