golang scripts.

In catching up with some past issues of linux mags, I noticed a golang script for partly manual Oauth2 authenticating.
Looking briefly at the golang cookbook it appears since v1.5 cross-compiling has become easier. (sonewhere else I noticed there is support for armV5 and newer)
It is a staticly linked compiler and for CLI operations there shouldn’t be any problem building a RISC OS version in either our Cross-compiler or Native GCC, maybe even possible in Norcroft?
I haven’t checked out the latest GCC yet, the thought of all the extra versions of gcc and different machines is a daunting thought with the time I have available atm.
Edit: Looking a bit further, to build a go compiler, a working copy of go or gccgo has to be installed, so the process of building a compiler will have to start on one of those platforms. Autobuilder should handle it, keeping an eye on linux native vs the gcc cross libraries and perhaps binaries involved.
Just speculating, but the gccgo option might be simpler if it can be installed in the cross-compiler, then hopefully would be no need for calling linux native stuff.
