There’s a port of Lighttpd 1.4.59 available for RISC OS. It should be available to download PackMan soon. Either late this evening or tomorrow. To install just drop it onto the PackMan icon. Any required dependencies will also be installed if they aren’t already. It’s now possible to easily run a ‘fast/secure’ web server on RISC OS. Standard disclaimer about security on RISC OS, there is none! :-) Supports TLS 1.3, http/2 etc. When configured correctly gets A+ on ssllabs.com and observatory.mozilla.org. Download speeds using http on a RPi 4 with the document root placed on a RAM disk average about 90MiB/s. Using https averages about 17MiB/s, the VFP version about 30MiB/s for https). Most of the modules are untested. WebDAV hangs after a file completes uploading. |
