!Store - not able to log in

I wonder is there an issue with this application, for some months I have been unable to log in as a user on !Store, it doesn’t seem able to connect to the server at RComp. The version available on the RComp site is from 2013, the version I have which I have run successfully prior to December 2022 is dated 2020. |

I downloaded a fresh copy of pszip.zip from plingstore.org.uk, checked it was the 2013 version and installed it on RPCEmu 0.9.4 Interpreter (macOS). On starting !Store it contacted the server, updated itself and retrieved the current catalogue. As far as I can see all is well. It does of course require a working network connection. RPCEmu can be a bit fiddly in the network department – have you checked that Internet access is possible by other means, for example NetSurf? |
