Switcher configure

Now that there’s an option to hide !Boot (etc), can we please have another thought about the idea of right clicking Switcher as a shortcut to opening the system configuration? |

You want it to do something different when right clicked? Oh… |

That would break Director, which is possibly the only non-OS app I find essential. |

I agree Simon, it’s been part of my RISC OS experience going back to my A5000 days. Part of me, wishes it was part of the filer. |

Hmmm? Would it? I’m guessing Director hijacks right-clicks on Switcher to do something? Well, Switcher already does something if you right-click it. The same thing as if you left click it. ;-) So if this behaviour should change, then Director will continue to hijack the click and, well, nothing should be any different from your point of view. Director doesn’t appear to be on !Store, and I can’t be arsed to find where I put the keyboard to search for it. |

Rick, it’s in the Apps directory. |

You might need to be more specific about which distro that’s true for… |

Thanks, Steve for highlighting the distros perspective and grateful for the link. I nearly added hiding in plain sight, at the end of my post, glad I didn’t. |
