UTF8 outside the desktop

I haven’t forgotten my little wager with Rick concerning Unicode, a Japanese IME and the command line, but I’ve had (and to some extent am continuing to have) a challenging March work-wise, so have been unable to find much time.

However, I did find some over the weekend, and I thought Rick, Ben and a few other interested parties might like to see this small teaser:

What an ugly path! Sadly it is a really big teaser ‘cos that’s a 404. Is the picture set to world-accessible or whatever DropBox calls “public”?

Interestingly, I can view the image from a Windows computer which is also logged into the Dropbox website, but not from a RISC OS computer which isn’t. I have not yet determined which of these two facts is relevant. Further experimentation required tomorrow.
