Seems I missed this back in 2020 – someone had a go at making LCD adapter for reading Post output – ie what the Floppy light used to signal at start up of of Arcs etc.

Seems some of the Arc ROMs had code added to do this – complete with a socket on later machines.

Redoing
A540 memory modules.
A3020 4Mb upgrades.
A3000 16Mb upgrades.
IDE podule card.
Patching motherboards.
Acorn Video cards upgraded to 2Mb.

Upgrade pack for RPC power unit ‘Made in Taiwan’ Caps diodes etc.
No sign of a circuit diagram :-(

Is it possible for delete startup RISC OS ROMs be made – to start in VGA monitor mode perhaps a numbered 1024 × 768 added.

ARM3 upgrades cards using rusted A5000s M/B for doner ARM3 / Memc chips.

Don’t chuck away dump any rough A5000s :-/
