Well, Supposed to be working on my main job but well… it’s Wakefield aka Bradford Time….. So wow – how about current news… Sure I have missed some things… but as am downunder and can not attend the show in person just have to hang out in the Forums and watch multiple RO sites using the Sargasso RSS app I semi recently discovered… Whomever is penning a show review please issue it as soon as you are able… those of us in the antipodes are keen for more… Have spent the day building new RO5.31 based SD Card images and also a stand alone SSD image on my RPi4B. Also noted that April 15 was the RISC PCs 30th Birhday… Think it is appropriate to give a massive shout out and thank you to all involved in the current developments on the hardware, software and OS fronts. Without the dedication of these people there would be no new exciting news and also no RISC OS scene. Yes it is a retro scene and platform but that’s why we like it. The funny thing is with recent developments it is actually getting more usable as a daily driver again (for certain tasks)…. Thank you and have fun. mmm… might have to get back to my day job tomorrow….. |

And thank you to the individual (was that you Sprow?) who got around the show and posted a heap of photos on the Iconbar site. Only improvement there would be a caption for each photo summarising what/who is in the photo but that is being a bit greedy. |

Yup, that was me, if any shots are a bit blurred it was because I was running.
I’ll see if I can get those added to the Iconbar article. I must apologise to Chris from the Drag N Drop stand who I think was on a bio break when I went round – it would have been a bit odd to take a photo of an empty chair. Close your eyes and imagine copies of the latest edition of the digital magazine and some very nifty graphics tablets on show. |
