Compo Clues email list?

Many years ago there was a “Compo Clues” email list which I and others used to exchange info on “how to do” various tasks which !Compo could perform, hints and tips, share code, etc.

I think it would make sense to now have something similar again. But I’m stuck with two questions to resolve:

1) Maybe having a specific thread here for the purpose would make more sense these days?

2) If not (1) where/what is the most reliable way to set up and run a new email list? I don’t want to have to do this using !Pluto on my own machine, but use some host service that is convenient and safe.

Advice/info/comments/preference?

Jim, could I suggest you talk to Vince Hudd of Riscosity/Soft Rock, fame. He generously runs a number of RISC OS software related mailing list.

FWIW I did email Vince after reading the above. But as yet, no reply. Hoping this is just because he is ‘on holiday’ and will reply soon!
