Acorn User Disks

I’ve just got started on the nostalgia trip of running RISCOS on the Pi and am loving it! I have found my box of old disks (mostly Acorn User mag freebies) and as wondering how to get them onto the Pi? Is there a preferred bit of software used to rip the Acorn formatted disks to an image that can be used? I have a PC and floppy drive, but if things get desperate could fire up the A4000 I have in storage if needed. I also have a couple of shareware CD’s somewhere, and ripping those would also be awesome. Any help or pointers much appreciated! |

Old disks: Maybe you find here any helpful tools to save your disks. I have created zip files from my floppy disks via RPCemu. CD’s you can read directly if you have a external CDVDROM-Drive. Set a CDDrive via Configure/Discs (doubleclick !Boot). You can also create a ISO Image from the CD and use CDFaker. Note that the most old stuff only works with aemulor or ArcEM on your RPi. |
