SmartMenu & Grapevine

Hi people,

I’ve recently purchased Grapevine from the PlingStore – very nice and smooth experience in terms of purchasing.
In regards to the purchased software though I’ve hit a bug.

Every desktop application I’ve used so far has been compatible with another little application called SmartMenu, which changes the direction of navigating menus to the left when on the far right hand side of the screen. This personally looks a lot tidier to me than having each menu drawn over the top of the previous one and should perhaps be the default behviour of the OS.

General usage of Grapevine is fine until its menus get near my range for flipping for the menu direction round. The application immediately crashes on me Menu clicking or using one of the toolbar buttons that generates one. “Abort on data transfer &582bc”
The menus in the iconbar happen to work just fine though,

I suppose the questions are:
does anybody else use SmartMenu?
have they seen it crash other applications?
and finally if you’re in the know, how do I gather more information for when I report the bug or will the data transfer error be enough?
