ARM9 support?

I don’t follow the exact nuances of the various ARM processors closely, so perhaps someone can answer this better. What is the current state of the ARM9 support in RISC OS 5? In particular, my phone (http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Main_Page) has an ARM920T in it (armv4). I presume this is pretty similar to the A9 processor, and I recall some work by Castle/Tematic on an ARM9 platform. It’s not that I think it’s particularly sensible that RISC OS runs on my phone, but all the hardware is open and it might be a test bed for other platforms. |

There is full support for ARM9 cores in the kernel. Both Pace and Castle created HALs for different ARM9-based chipsets, so any issues should have been ironed out by now. |
