Sort of the x86 version of RISC OS, that meaning a lightweight OS written in assembler for speed and… well… Maybe ROOL shouldn’t open with who ROOL are and a potted history of RISC OS, but rather “why RISC OS?”. And perhaps the photos ought to also include screenshots of RISC OS itself?

At any rate, just shows that you can get stuff done in assembler. ;-) I’ll await the obligatory “maintenance nightmare” comments while timing exactly how fast my SoC starts up…
