BeagleBoard xM-C with RiscOS5.17 seems not to work

BB xM-C board does work in combination with RiscOS 5.18. For certain reasons I cannot use RiscOS 5.18. When I make an image with the same MLO and U-boot/bin and RiscOS 5.17 ROM the booting starts, but stops leaving the system in the Supervisor mode with hte USB ports unpowered. So no keyboard availlable.

The same RiscOS 5.17 ROMimage in combination with a BB xM-B boards, and the correct MLO and U-boot files, works ok.

I need the BB xM-C-board, because the B does not support GPIO on the Camera port.

It used to work here on my rev C. I have 5.17 SD images for 26 Oct & 22 Dec 2011 if that would be helpful to try.
