Abstract and Octagons Wallpapers - Higher Resolutions

Hi,

in the Pi Image there are two Wallpapers, named “Abstract” and “Octagons”. Does anyone know if they are available in Higher Resolutions, or at least in proper ones? They are currently 1920×1013 and look a bit distorted when scaled up to 1920×1080 :-)

The Icon Bar is 87 pixels high so the backdrop is 1920 × 1013 so no scaling is involved in a 1920×1080 mode. AFAIK the Iconbar can’t be made to disappear! It can be overlaid with applications etc.

Egon: Assuming the original image was scaled you would need to rescale from that to get 1920 × 1080. I don’t know were they were sourced from.

They were sourced from Artwork files created by Richard Hallas. I don’t think we ever had the AW versions, but we do have the 1920×1080 (full-screen) sprites as well as the 1920×1013 (pinboard) sprites. So as a bonus, I’ll include those in the next RISC OS Pi release. And yes, we specifically asked for the cropped versions so they would fit the pinboard without any scaling.
