Forum search syntax

Is there any documentation for the Forum search syntax?
It finds individual words or exact phrases but I hope it can do more than that.
say:
two separated words e.g. ‘Wheel * support’ to find ‘Wheel mouse support’
or even ‘Support AND Wheel’

or USB -Pi to exclude postings with Pi in them.

On a related note: Amazon seems to have a very dumb search as well. I contacted customer support who knew less than me! i.e. they didn’t know -FRED would omit items with FRED in them!

For a start: unless it’s changed recently, you can only search using entirely lower case.

SeArch & search both give 526 results!

If you want advanced search, just use Google with “+site:riscosopen.org/forum” included as part of the search query.

Good point Andrew, I’ve used google and site: many times on other sites like hp.com amazon.com whose own searches are useless!

But note that the ‘+’ character itself now achieves nothing – it’s no longer a supported operator. (It doesn’t appear to ‘break’ the results – but it doesn’t actually serve any purpose).
