!Compare V0.27

Could someone confirm that !Compare, V0.27 works without error on the latest release of RISC OS ROMs 5.21 (03-Jun-14) for Raspberry Pi.

Don’t know about the Pi but it refuses to start on the Beagleboard -xM with the error ’Unexpected error: Bad sprite reason code (14). As !Compare was already on my drive I assume it must have worked when installed. 03-Jun ROM.

All across the board I think – it fails in RPCEmu. It fails on the SpriteOp call in PROCf

I’m guessing a recent graphics change has highlighted an existing issue in !Compare

Thanks guys. Martin is obviously aware about the bad sprite error code. I don’t use it much but this utility is invaluable when I do.

I now have an updated v0.32 of Compare which should fix the RO5.21 Sprite bug, and a few improvements to make it a bit more versatile. See the Help file History for details of changes.

I have been meaning to improve it for some time. The recent comments just provoked me to do something!

It is available for download from www.avisoft.f9.co.uk on the Compare page. It is not obvious (because I would like some more test results first) so it is currently only mentioned in the Downloads section as v0.32.
