Further to my posting that modern USB to Ethernet adaptors will not work on the Compute module. I contacted James Peacock who wrote EtherUSB, he replied If the devices are in the list of vendor/product IDs EtherUSB recognises Much as I’d like to, I don’t really have the time to work on it at the We’ve tried each of the above with what seemed the most appropriate backend Results on Pi are below: Works: Non- Working: White 3 Port USB + Ethernet in poly bag - White 3 port USB + Ethernet Polycarbonate box Blue single White 3 port USB + Ethernet single blister - Is there anyone who can look into this please? I can send one or more of the interfaces for testing. |

I have a “USB 2.0 Port Replicator II” that has a 4 port USB hub, two PS/2 ports (unused), a USB to serial port (unused Prolific) and a USB to Ethernet port, that works fine. It is powered. VID: 07a6 |
