Are you able to ping your default gateway? If so, then try pinging your DNS servers or something like Google DNS – 8.8.8.8

Just trying to work out where your connection is failing.

At * prompt (Press F12 or CTRL F12 to get one)
*ping 8.8.8.8

No route to host.

Damn how do I get out of that F12 again lol?

Are you using DHCP or have you set RISC OS with a static IP address?

Just press enter again to get out of the prompt!

I tried static but to be honest, there were so many option I have no idea if I’m doing it right. Currently it’s DHCP.

Do you know the IP address of your router?

Maybe I should explain how its hooked up?

I have the Cable modem going into an Apple Airport. It’s currently an Access Point. I also have three Ethernet cables running out of the Airport: one to my PC, one to my PS4, and the last to my RaspPI. So do I need the IP of my Airport?

On your PC open a command prompt and type: ipconfig (then press enter)

Can you post the IP addresses shown in the square brackets from the first few lines?

Try giving RISC OS the following settings;
IP Address: 192.168.1.250
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Host name: riscos
Local domain: local
Primary Name Server: 8.8.8.8
Secondary Name Server: 8.8.4.4

I’m using same build that I was using in Dec 2014.

So, should I download the new one?

Use the image from here https://www.riscosopen.org/content/downloads/raspberry-pi its the easy way or download the new noobs image at https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/noobs/
the choice is yours i recommend using a new card
PS. these images are to download to a PC and write to SDcard and support the mark 2 PI so use sd Card of the right size to suit your Pi.

There should be no entires in your Routes file, for the purpose of testing make sure you only have the loopback entry in the Hosts file.

Upgrading to the RC14 ROM can’t hurt!

I tried C&P test and saving to a USB drive, but the file keeps coming up as 0 file size for some reason. :(
