Filer_DclickHold not found

Just installed Harddisc4 5.20 image onto my Iyonix, now when I boot the machine I get the error message – Filer ‘Filer_DclickHold’ not found. On clicking ok the machine boots into the desktop as normal. Any idea what is wrong please.

Filer_DClickHold is a Filer configuration option set in the file !Boot.Choices.Boot.Tasks.FlrSetup

The command itself is provided by the Filer module.

It all works on this Iyonix on 5.20.

My guess is that the FlrSetup file is garbaged somehow and if so the simplest solution may be to resave the Filer configuration. Double click on !Boot, click on Filer then Set.

@John: you do not say which version of ROM you are using – the command was first introduced in RISC OS 5.16.

Re – Rom version.

Before I installed the latest HardDisc4 image it was running RISCOS 5.18. On checking now it’s running v5.13 for some reason. It looks like there seems to be a problem with versions before 5.16 (Dave Pitt)

I’ve now installed the 5.20 softload image and all seems to be fine. I will report back if there are any more problems. If all goes well I’ll use the 5.20 flash programme.
