What does Select have that we lack?

^B good, Backspace, not so good.

^B is a QuickFiler definition, Backspace is in the OS (I initially thought it was in RO6 too, but looking at the RO6 web pages it seems that it uses ^ for open parent)
You could of course have both. Do bear in mind that we may get a windozey viewpoint expecting the same as that environment and it’s already there in RO5.2x (so anyone saying no is arguing with work ROOL already did)

Question: QuickFiler uses ^D for create new directory in the current focus directory and offers a writable icon for the naming. This is equivalent to NOT clicking on the first menu option but moving to the sub-menu. The main menu option defaults to a name of “Directory”
So in Filer ^D => create “Directory” or ^D => opens writable?
Meanwhile RO6 uses “Insert”

Apologies for the thread resurrection

With the Toolbox reunification bounty underway, plus the further enhancements underway for the default apps, Pinbaord2, button decorations etc. I was wondering if there was any other updates in regards to getting some degree parity with some of the other user facing enhancements of Select? With my oddball mind, one bugbear is RO5s handling of inverting sprites, when Select adopted tinting and IMHO made the UI look more polished when selecting icons etc. I’d contribute to a bounty to implement that :D
