Suggestion - legacy systems

How about having a legacy systems section to the forum?
Since there appears to be a demand for people to ask about os versions <> 5.xx.

It wouldn’t cost anything and might encourage legacy users to move forward :-)

That’s got to be a good thing, surely!

The first question is how many people here have a convenient RPC¹ to try out modifications to the !Boot to move it toward a truly Universal !Boot suitable for straight drop install on RO3.5 through to RO5.2x

The Boot would need to determine early on what base it was on and only load the compatible items.
At present this tends to be a bit hit or miss on the application elements and one wrong item causes the boot to stop with an error.

Probably not so much a legacy support group as a transition support group.

¹ RPC is probably the easiest first target, the question being how many people here have one that still has RO4.02 never mind RO3.7 or RO3.5
