Accessing a Kindle via USB

Turns out that a Kindle Paperwhite can be plugged into a Pi’s powered hub and read just like any other USB storage device – which is handy in my case, because Amazon has stopped supporting the emailing of PDFs to that class of device (newer Kindles, the DX, Second gen. and latest models are still supported seemingly), and I find the Kindle a useful reader for bespoke documents when on the move.
