RISC OS 5.22 graphical garbage

I finally got round to installing V5.22. No probs other than usuall setting up of things as you like it. However, whenever I do a drag ‘n’ drop on a filer object I get a whole lot of screen garbage appear on the right of the object to be dragged and this continues all the way across the screen. The drag ‘n’ drop still performs correctly as far as I am aware ( there doesnt seem to be any corruption ). Anybody else seen this ? Greg |

I’ve not seen any similar reports. |

Had this problem some time ago. If you double click !Boot go to ‘Filer’, there is an option at the bottom ‘Dragging objects uses a solid icon’. Make sure that is unticked. Solved the problem for me. |

Alternatively, just remove Geminus from !Boot |

Yes I had Geminus installed but was dubious about removing it from boot sequence as I didnt want to lose the speed Geminus provided on the desktop but was surprised just how nippy RISC OS has become over the years. Well done all the RISC OS developers out there and thanks to Kevin and Chris for your suggestions. |
