I know, you’re thinking ‘A phone, too small, naa’ But the Snapdragon (ARM V7) is also used in this machine http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=2382&c=hp_compaq_airlife_100 Thoughts, please |

The hardware’s certainly good, so the question is one of getting our hands on the hardware docs, and finding someone as crazy as me to spearhead the development ;) |

Hi, You’re volunteering then, I take it :^) It has a SRP of £465 inc vat ! Docs do seem to be a bit thin on the ground, but given it runs Android, it should be difficult for them to obscure them too much. I have a contact inside HP who might know who to talk to, I’ll have a word tomorrow if I can find a slot in between running around the Midlands. |

HP have no plans to sell the Airlife in the UK. So it’s buy from Spain or not at all, grr |

A slight improvement HP have said that MCI Diventi Ltd 10 Troutbeck Road Sheffield S72QA 0114 224 6000 may be able to help. I would appreciate it if anyone who is free during office hours could contact them, and find out if they can supply. HP FB240AA - Compaq Airlife 100 is the machine |

They’re correct. It’s listed on their website for £396 exc. VAT. [Edit: The “Add to cart” button on that details page doesn’t seem to work for me… but searching for the item and clicking “Buy Now” puts it in the cart OK.] |
