6fps on this Iyo, with the demo saved to RAM disc (model=X100, 512MB RAM, RO 5.16 flashed). |

Nope. However I think the demo just uses the current screen mode, so which screen mode you’re using might affect things. Also it wouldn’t surprise me if the framerate was affected by which graphics card you’ve got – my Iyonix has one of the newer FX series cards (FX5200?). |

Sorry 8fps at 1280×1024 on the Iyonix. Previous slower one was at 1920×1080 |

Makes perfect sense, but the following suggested slightly amended !Run file may be of interest to those demoing at user groups, etc....makes no attempt to change into the screen mode it requires...Yes, that is by design, as with the different platforms and mode files out there (especially for the BeagleBoard), you can’t assume that a particular mode/resolution is available, and furthermore I didn’t want to tie it to a particular mode. WimpSlot -min 128k -max 128k | | Application requires a minimum 1280 x 1024 | resolution 24-bit colour screen mode. | | Remove "|" below and include a mode selection | string compatible with your display and MDF. |WimpMode X1280 Y1024 C16M EX1 EY1 F57 | | For smoothest display, increase screen | memory to maximum value. | | Remove "|" below to do this automatically. |ChangeDynamicArea -ScreenSize 32M | Run <Obey$Dir>.!RunImage [Edit: Could this be the starting point for a 4KB Beagle demo challenge?Yes please! Although I don’t have enough spare time to take part :( ...For future reference, note the IN4K wiki.] |

The Raspberry Pi forum has a thread on demos, seeking old school Archimedes demo coders willing to publish their code. |
